JFK Zapruder Film Closeup
I just read a book by Mark Fuhrman, of OJ Simpson fame. He said after careful, logical police work. It was just another case of
simple murder. Oswald did it, and did it alone.
Not to knock the guy. But I remember seeing a film once. Not
the Zapruder film, but filmed from the other side of the street. That clearly showed a puff of smoke, like a gun being fired, coming from
the grassy knoll. Did anybody else see it?
Not to open old wounds. It's done and gone. It was probably a whole bunch of people involved. Either directly, or had the knowledge and didn't stop it.
I have seen the film as well, and have long believed the government was trying to pull the wool over our eyes over the assassination. While anyone else who was involved is likely dead by now, the idea of the govt. lying to us on that great a scale disturbs me.
OK i think this is a bit of a long shot...about 10 years ago, a concert band I was in played a piece of music about the famous Zapruder film of the Kennedy assassination. I can't remember the name or composer of the piece. It had a section in it where we made noises that were suppose to be the film hitting on the reel after it was over. Any help ????
You are probably thinking of "Dream of Abraham" by Daniel Bukvich and published by Wingert-Jones music publishers.
DREAM OF ABRAHAM
Publisher Description:
" The dream... always... " Those are the words of Abraham Zapruder as he speaks of his own reaction to the film he made of the assassination of John F. Kennedy. This work incorporates the unique and creative writing style found in the Bukvich Symphony No. 1 in bringing us this chilling and haunting representation. A most remarkable work.
Hope this is what you were looking for.
Musician, composer, teacher.
I watched Image of an Assassination, which features the Abraham Zapruder film showing John F. Kennedy's assassination. In the film, after President Kennedy is shot in the head, what looks like a bloody bubble appears on the front right side of his head--what is that!
Have you examined the "stabilized" footage of the assassination?
The Zapruder footage was all jumpy and hectic, so someone repositioned the images in the film so that the scene looks smoother.

John F. Kennedy's assassination was recorded on a 8mm home movie camera by a man named Abraham Zapruder. Zapruder was the only cameraman that day who recorded the assassination from beginning to end.
Shortly after the assassination, the Zapruder Film was locked up in a vault and wasn't shown to the American people for 12 years. When the film was first shown, it was revieled that President Kennedy was shot in the head from the front and not from behind where the Government's investigation placed the sniper. This lead many to believe more than one person was shooting at JFK that day and a conspiracy.
The Zapruder Film is available on DVD right now. It's called "Image of a assassination".
There's 6 reactions to shots being fired in the film.
Frames: 154, 189, 228, 236, 295, and 313.
Z154 - Shot 1: missed (behind)
Z189 - Shot 2: JFK in the throat (front)
Z228 - Shot 3: JFK in the back (behind)
Z236 - Shot 4: Connally in the back (behind)
Z295 - Shot 5: Missed (behind)
Z313 - Shot 6: JFK in the head (front)
There's also a police dictabelt recording that was recorded during the assassination by a Dallas Police motorcycle's microphone. The recording allegedly has 4-6 shots recorded on it. Possibly 7.
i've seen it...its kinda hard to tell...you can just barely see him get shot because the camera only got the bottom of it...if you would like to see it i would suggest going to the site below...i thought it was really intersting...=}
