Does anyone know what happened to the sections of Metropolis after the Americans edited it in 1927? I know which bits are missing, cause a summary is included in the DVD version's intertitles.

The screenplay by Thea Von Harbou is still very haunting and courageously assails social issues that are of all ages.
The world has been divided into two main categories: thinkers & workers! If you belong to the first category, you can lead a life of luxury above ground but if you're a worker, your life isn't worth a penny, and you're doomed to perilous labor underground.
The further expansions and intrigues in the screenplay are too astonishing to spoil, so I strongly advise that you check out the film yourself. It's essential viewing, anyway! "Metropolis" is a very demanding film-experience.
Many supposedly 'restored' versions have been released over the years (in 1984 and 2002, for example) but the 1926-version is still the finest in my opinion, even though that one already isn't as detailed and punctual as Lang intended it. "Metropolis" perhaps is THE most important and influential movie ever made.

I've just downloaded the soundtrack to the 80s musical, Metropolis. There are a few songs sung by Judy Kuhn that I would love to learn. I've searched high and low for the sheet music. Is it available anywhere? Anyhow I can get the sheet music?

I'm looking for a good hotel and great places to go when I go to Metropolis in a few weeks. What are some great stores, restaurants and attractions I should see there?
Traveling past Metroplis I seen a sign for a casino, stopped in and had a lot of fun. It's right near the river (river boat). Plenty of parking.
Anyone who plays the game and has managed to get a huge metropolis with skyscrapers and everything, are there any tips or tricks that you would use to help me do the same thing?

best advice is take your time. it takes hours and hours of planning. Start of with low-density industrials and residential zones. Pls remember to leave space for avenues and even highway's for when its time to upgrade them to medium end even high-density zones. To get to the point where sims start building skyscraper. Make sure you commercial demands stays high and there is a transportation system around the area like highway's and subway and crime stays low in the area. And just stay on top of the basics. Lots of schools and colleges that are well funded. Make sure your city stays clean with enough landfill space. Keep crime low and fund your fire departments well.
In a small city that just starts up i always put taxes 10% across the board and lower it once sims start complaining. As your city grows increase taxes on dirty small industry and lower taxes on high tech industries. This will pull big commercial firms to your city and then you should lower commercial taxes to about 6.5 present.
And lastly look at the city you stay in or a big city in your area and take not of the way transportation systems integrate. And the way it’s laid out. Its not easy but take your time and have fun.
What I mean for example if a city earns 2 resources does building the metropolis on the city get you 4?
No, a metropolis earns the same amount as a regular city. The only bonuses of a metropolis are the additional points (4 points instead of 2 points for a regular city) and the added bonus of not losing it if there are not enough defenders when the pirates/barbarians attack.
