I asked a girl if she was pregnant, she wasn't and we kept on talking though for some reason.
Hey, I had a conversation with someone on skype and he is one of my contacts. But I don't want somebody else to read our conversation bcs me and that somebody else we use the same skype account but he can see that I have the contact in my list of contacts but I don't want him to read the conversation we had... How do I delete the conversation without deleting the contact?
You go to history, then right click on the conversation, then all the way at the bottom it says delete this entry. It works i have a skype.

In person, if I knew the person I would acknowledge them with a smile or a 'hi or hello' and then point out something 'in common', i.e. what did you think about that math class; or offer a sincere compliment 'that's a cool pair of earrings you're wearing...' and see where the conversation takes us. It helps if you're good at asking questions.
If I meet someone online I'd invite them to play a conversation game. On facebook I play 'thin-slice...the intuition game'. I think it's a great way to get to know someone because the games are only 5 questions long and the games computer selects the questions. After 5 random questions I usually learn enough about the person to start my own conversation or play another game.
I am an 18 year old boy who has just started university in my hometown. I have never had a girlfriend in the past as I've been too shy with girls.
Since I've started uni I have made an effort to talk to girls in my lectures and I have become friendly with them and managed to talk to them without feeling nervous. However, even though these girls are friends they aren't really my type as I'm attracted to more reserved, cute girls.
I see loads of pretty girls in the library who I'd like to talk to. I can talk because there is a big room for group study. I think I can talk to them fine but I just don't know how to start a conversation with them. In my lectures its easy to introduce yourself but its more awkward in the library.
So, how do I start a conversation in the library? Also, if a conversation goes really well should I ask the girl out? Or maybe just ask her if she wants a drink on campus?

I can think of only one way to start a conversation in a library:
Comment on what they're reading.
There really isn't much else to start with.
Ask the girl out? I'd say no. Just ask her to go for a drink? That would probably be the best idea, that way, if it is a more reserved type, she won't feel like she is being rushed into anything too serious.
