did you see "Pan's Labyrinth? or el laberinto del fauno"? and what did u think of it, do u belive a world like that exsists?

I saw it and honestly it's one of my favorite movies. I think that if YOU believe a world like that exists then it does, it all comes down to your beliefs and how open minded you are. I really liked it, it's a wonderful movie, but I cried at the end =)

"And it is said that the Princess returned to her father's kingdom. That she reigned there with justice and a kind heart for many centuries. That she was loved by her people. And that she left behind small traces of her time on Earth, visible only to those who know where to look."

You see?? Like I said, a world like that exists to only those who believe.

How does "El Laberinto del Fauno" become "Pan's Labyrinth" in english?
La busqueda del Tesoro

doesn't mean the faun's labyrinth? who's Pan?

Pan is a Greek god who had the horns and legs of a goat. Another word for a creature of Pan's appearance is "faun".

Here's what Wikipedia has to say:
Pan is the Greek god of shepherds and flocks, of mountain wilds, hunting and rustic music: paein means to pasture. He has the hindquarters, legs, and horns of a goat, in the same manner as a faun or satyr. He is recognized as the god of fields, groves, and wooded glens; because of this, Pan is connected to fertility and the season of spring. Pan's ancient Roman equivalent was Faunus, and they were both horned god deities. For this reason, he is popular among many Neopagans and occultic groups. ... Pan inspired sudden fear in lonely places: Panic (panikon deima).

If you've seen "7 Faces of Dr. Lao", Pan is one of the beings in his circus. In this film, as well as in art, he is often shown playing an instrument of his creation, the panpipes.

Are there any good movies or books, somewhat like El Laberinto Del Fauno (Pan's Labyrinth)?
El Laberinto del Fauno

Amazing movie, wish that it had a book form.

The Book of Lost Things by John Connolly is similar to Pan's Labyrinth.

It's about a boy who has lost his mother and is trying to adapt to his father marrying a new woman and having a new baby brother. One day he starts to hear voices coming from the books and that eventually leads him to a world where all the fairy stories that he's read are real, but in a more menacing way.

It's a really great book. I think it has a more interesting story line than Pan's Labyrinth.
