Lon Milo DuQuette's answer to the Evangelical question, "Have you heard the good news". Partially excerpted from, "My Life With ...
What are the good news of the kingdom of God?
What is the kingdom of God?
What religion is preaching the good news of the kingdom of God?
Matthew 24:14: And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.
Great question, Boanerge.
This is because Jesus identified the period immediately before 'the end of the system of things,' as being the time when the "good news of the Kingdom" would be preached.
Everything else he identified in that prophecy has been fulfilled in a massive way. But, most outstandingly, indeed miraculously, that work is being accomplished by a very unique group of people. Worldwide!

I definitely notice that news media has more bad news than good news. I got to admit that hearing too much bad news seems really depressing. Bad news sells more than good news.
It's an analogy to saying, people love to get chastised more than getting complimented. Or another analogy could be preferring to get a grade "D" on a course class subject instead of an "A" .
Things on our lives are mostly good. So we stop and look at bad things more like an accident on the freeway.
What good websites do I go to to get local news and lifestyle type news on Indianapolis?
Yes, you can always go to the Indianapolis Star website which is the main newspaper for Indianapolis. Nuvo has entertainment news in it.

I am looking for a conservative news magazine to subscribe to. I use to get Newsweek but it has become so liberal that I just ended my subscription. Are there any good alternatives to read to keep me up to date on current events? Is Time magazine liberal like Newsweek?
