What "ruling class"? What "empire"? What are you talking about?

Does America have a ruling class and what does it take to become a part of it?

Walter Cronkite says yes, we do have a ruling class which controls democracy through the market place. What do you think?

Yes, they are called the Illuminati, and you DON'T want to become part of it; it's IMPOSSIBLE unless you are one of the 13 super-rich families that control 95% of the world's wealth. That would be names like Rockefeller, Rothschild, Vanderbuilt, J.P. Morgan, and European royalty. If you have to ask, that lets you OUT.

Social interaction and Ruling Class during the time of Jane Austen?

Can anybody help?
Does anyone know about how people interacted and what the ruling class was during the time of Jane Austen?
Also, if you have any information on expectations of women during the same period i would be really grateful.

There's a lot of info about this sort of thing in

How can i be ruling class?

ruling class have following characterstics : it has both the most material wealth and the most widespread influence over all the other classes, and it chooses to actively exercise that power to shape the direction of a locality, a country, and/or the world.
My question is that how can i get most widespread influence over all the other classes, and it chooses to actively exercise that power to shape the direction of a country?

Get your education, preferably a degree in higher education. Learn to communicate effectively so you can appeal to many people.

Wouldn't socialism work if the ruling class were "females only"?

I always thought the problem with socialism has always been the corruption of government power and the lack of incentives to work.

However the most uncorrupt versions of democratic socialism have been the Scandinavian countries, wanna know why? Because women have more rights and political influence in those countries.

Cuba, on the other hand, does not promote that role of women, nor does China, nor does Iran.

So the key to making socialism work is let beautiful women manage the redistribution of wealth and the incentive to work will be enhancing relationships with the ruling class members and then women would be able to empower the hardest working men.

Could this possibly work? Physical attraction to the ruling class keeps the system on its feet, and the responsibility of women.
The slogan would be "If you can reproduce, you can redistribute."
That's also how bee colonies work. Look at animal kingdoms for support.

LOL. That's kind of funny. Interesting idea, too, since war has pretty much always historically (and still is) a man's thing: started by men, perpetuated by men, fought by men. And apparently dying in war is more heroic than childbirth. 'Cause giving birth and raising kids is a walk in the park, you know. Soldiers, not mothers, get memorials.

Anyway, that said, it would probably be just as easy for women to become corrupt as men. Or, at least, I can guarantee that some women would become corrupt. Of course, you make a good point in that ... why don't women get an equal shot at being corrupt when we already know men are.

Anyway, we do need more women in government. And heading business.
