I never watched the movie but i need to know everything tht happens in the story please. Like the summary, wikipedia isn't tht good for it.
Carlo Collodi's famous book.
Gepetto, a humble toy maker, fashions a marionette out of a log that has miraculously appeared on his doorstep. After wishing upon a star that his creation, Pinocchio, would come to life, Gepetto's wish is granted by the beautiful Blue Fairy. The only condition is that Pinocchio must prove his valor, and be completely honest at all times, in order to become a real boy. Unfortunately, this isn't easy for the enthusiastic puppet, who seems to find trouble everywhere he turns. After a long, tumultuous journey, in which Pinocchio is accosted by two corrupt thieves, turned into a donkey, and swallowed by a shark, Pinocchio is reunited with his father, setting up a final challenge that will prove once and for all if Pinocchio has the heart to become a real boy.
The song from the original Pinocchio movie. "Give A Little Whistle" and "Always Let Your Conscience Be Your Guide" as they ...
Im not talking about the Disney Pinocchio, I'm talking about the grim Pinocchio, the original one. I need to know the name of cricket in the original Pinocchio because I have to find out whats the name of the cricket for homework. Please Help !
Type into your search bar, as I did: "Pinocchio" -- original story. You will find, among others, a link titled Collodi's brooding, subversive 'Pinocchio' -- NPR. Click on that, and you'll find a very good review of the original book written in Italian by Carlo Collodi. There is a new translation by Geoffrey Brock, if you would be interested in reading it. The review mentions that the original is not at all like Disney's version and reports that there is a cricket (not named Jiminy) who talks and offers advice and is "squished by Pinocchio twelve pages in..." It seems possible, therefore, that the cricket might remain nameless. The reviewer does not offer a name. It seems that, if you could find a copy of the translation, it would be a simple matter to discover whether or not the cricket is unnamed, since the information would be readily available at the beginning of the book. How badly to you want or need to know?
Addendum: I checked Amazon to peruse the translation above; searched "talking cricket" and was able to read the part of the book where Pinocchio and the cricket interact. The cricket is referred to only as the Cricket or talking Cricket, and Pinocchio does indeed kill it when he is displeased with its advice!
I know that several different countries wrote different versions of Pinocchio, but I need to know some of the titles. Any help would be great!
Буратино (buratino) in Russian.
Or "Буратино и золотой ключик" ("Buratino and a little golden key"). I don't remember the exact title, it's a book for kids. But there many differences from the original version. Here are two of them:
*Buratino's nose is stable long, whether he lies or not.
*Buratino doesn't want to be a real boy as he knows that it's money that'll give him power... to feed his father and to give him a lot of coats and the biggest theater.
I can't know more, because I have never read Pinocchio, I just have heard of it
Both stories are unbelievable to be taken as fact, but share similar qualities. In each story a man lives inside a whale or big fish for days and survives to tell about it. In Pinocchio we just have a wooden toy, who happens to talk and such. How different is this then say, a talking snake or donkey.
So would you christians, would you claim Pinocchio was a factual and historical even if the pages of the bible contained its story?
Of course they would, because it would be the word of god. Now if people would only believe that the bible sprain form the screwed up minds of one or more people and over time was latched onto as being real because we have need to believe we're never going to die.
What would happen if Pinocchio said my nose will now grow?
Lets answer this guys :)
his nose would self destruct
