It's set in New York. Came out around the year 2000. I can't remember the title. It's NOT "hombre mirando al sudeste" and it's NOT K-Pax.
Thanks for your answers, but no it's not Family Man (I liked that movie, I can't remember anything about another planet though) and it's not Disney, it is an "independent" movie, low budget, the actors are in their mid thirties (none of them famous as far as I can tell), it's set in Manhattan and the final plot revolves around Delancey: the jealous girlfriend thinks it's a girl's name, but no it's Delancey street. I thought it was so good that I refused for years to watch K-Pax (a clear rip-off and indeed I find K-Pax pretty dull). Anyone remembers?
is it happy accidents?? it was overlooked bc of the release of KPAx so maybe this is the one you were thinking...he's not from another planet but the future, i watched it bc in the future dubuque, ia is the east cost of america (that's my hometown so kind of neat... good luck!!
