From 1:17-1:28 at the beginning of "The Big Lebowski," there is a night shot overlooking a city, is that city Camarillo, California? Or is it some other city?

There's a scene in The Big Lebowski where The Dude says (this is from memory, so maybe not exact), "It's like Lenin says: you look for the person who will benefit and, uhh...." He gets interrupted before he can finish his thought, but presumably the meaning is something to the effect that if you're trying to figure out who caused something to happen, you should look at who benefited from the outcome. I was wondering if anybody could point me to a specific work or passage of Lenin that this might be referring to. Thx
I don't know about Lenin, but there's a classic Latin version: "Cui bono?" ("Who benefits?"). It means just what you think -- to solve a crime, start by looking for who benefited from it. Wikipedia says that Cicero said that the judge Ravilla first made it famous.
I want to find a purple jumpsuit like the one that "The Jesus" (John Tuturro) wears in the Big Lebowski. Where can I buy something like that?

The above site may give you some ideas. Although there appear to many costume parties with this a theme, no one appears to be selling any. Looks like everything is homemade. If you can figure out how to do this you might be able to make a little cash selling them.
You know how Walter (John Goodman) in the Big Lebowski always relates everything back to Vietnam, well is this the same with Alf and the ANC? LOL!!!
Is there a single thing that happens in the world that is not a communist plot or directly/indirectly related to the ANC according to Alf? Any theories?
