I am considering closing a checking and savings account with Wells Fargo, transferring my funds to a seperate bank, and (if posible) switching my VISA from WF to the new bank.
Will it be a smooth process or will they put up a many roadblocks as possible to prevent it? Everything thing else I've done with them would sugget it's going to be the latter.
It's not hard. I've changed banks a number of times over the years. You don't have to close the Visa account unless it's linked to your WF accounts.

We have a trip planned from Manitoba to St. Paul this weekend (April 3-5). We were planning on taking I-29 down to Fargo, then I-94 across the river to Moorhead and down to the Twin Cities.
Is this still the best route, or are these interstates experiencing flood-related closures, traffic backups, etc? Is the I-94 bridge across the Red River even open?

Currently the Interstates are open to travel---the I-94 bridge between Fargo-Moorhead is one of two bridges that didn't close, bur there will be some extra traffic due to other bridges still being closed.
My coworker can only cash his Wells Fargo checks at Wells Fargo, but he doesn't want to open an account with them. We talked on the phone with WF, but apparently they won't cash his checks if he doesn't open an account? Is this even legal?
If it is a payroll check, any bank will cash it. Why doesn't he simply take it to his own bank. They will cash it.
But why would he have a Wells Fargo check if he doesn't have an account there?
What is the difference between the wells fargo platinum card and gold card?? I have a gold check card with the visa logo but i have seen ppl with a platinum version. What is the difference and how do i go about getting the platinum version?

those who have 25k or more in checking will have the debit platinum card.
if you have less you will have the gold.
Do you know anything that highlights about Wells Fargo bank? Or what are the best products of Wells Fargo that other competitors don't have? I'm going to have an interview soon, so please help.
You should spend some time reading Wells Fargo's website. It will look much better if you can speak intelligently about the company and its products than if you can only briefly mention something that you heard here.
Besides, how do you know if an answer from here is correct? Anyone can write anything on this website and you may repeat it in the interview. There is no requirement that the people who provide answers have any knowledge about the subject.
