Frankenstein?
Monsters: Vanity Wars

I have just seen a question on the novel Frankenstein by Mary Shelley and I remember reading this novel!! Then a question came to my mind and I thought I would ask you guys. If you have read the novel, can you see any ways that this book has a message for the modern reader? I thought cloning but I wasn't sure.
also what would you say the GENRE of the novel was, how do you feel about this as a reader?

I must say that I have never read the book. I have seen the movie, of course. My present-day conception of this story is the way we once viewed various disabilities such as autism, dwarfism/giantism, manic-depression etc. Ignorance taught us that these people were monsters that did not fit into our concept of society which resulted in their being banned or institutionalized. Frankenstein's monster represented the unknown and ignorance not only in the medical world...but in everyday society.Today's "Frankensteins" explore into the unknown to educate us about the autism spectrum, manic depression and physical handicaps so that these people can assimilate into society and vice versa.

How is the book Frankenstein, different than cartoons or movies based on Frankenstein?
87 Marchmont Street, London: Percy and Mary Shelley

I need examples and sources. What are some differences in the way Frankenstein is protrayed in the book and in cartoons or movies?
How is Frankenstein diff in the book and the movie

I'm guessing when you say the book Frankenstein you mean the one by Mary Shelley. In most of the movies and other interpretations, the monster is called Frankenstein, while in the book its name is not ever really stated. The monster is "the monster", and the creator is Victor Frankenstein. Also, in a lot of the different versions, the monster is stupid. In the original book, he is uneducated, but after listening in on a family and reading books, he becomes intelligent. There's a ton more, but those are the only two that I can think of currently... As for your sources, I'm comparing the original book and cartoons and tv show references I've read throughout the ages, and Young Frankenstein. Also, in case you need more stuff on Frankenstein, sparknotes.com is amazing : ]

Spiritually speaking: If Frankenstein's Monster was made up from people of different religions?
dear #Frankenstein,

Which heaven would Frankenstein's Monster go to?

Would it be based on a largest percentage, or would only parts of him be sent to heaven?

He would exist in all places at once, and be as God is.
