They refer to it as a "space jockey." Basically, it's the creature that flew the alien spacecraft.
I saw a film or a tv show or something a long time ago and I remember one scene. A man is taken by the government to a secret base (maybe Area51 or something) and being held there is an Alien (like the typical grey sort). The alien is dying or something, and they bring in this man to communicate with the alien. I've looked online for the title of this movie, but I have not had any clues.

I'm writing about a male alien that looks human but he's not. So, how would I make him still seem like an alien to the human world? What characteristics should he have that kind of screams Alien? This isn't a novel or anything so I'm not trying to steal ideas it's for this thing I'm doing and I want him to seem realistic. Should he have some sort of special ability that makes him seem non-human? I really need some advice. Thanks!
A good place to start is with the defintion of alien. There are 2 meanings, obviously the green martian, and then the adjective. Alien the adjective means: "differing in nature or character typically to the point of incompatibility".
So, now you need to pick personality traits that others would see as being "wierd". Think of people you know you are odd or different and possibly left out because of this. He could be quiet, lonely, eccentric, extremely smart, anti-social, any personality trait you would expect and outcast to have.
Of course, you could also make him a friendly alien, but then the characterists are up to you, you could to anything you want with them, I'm just keeping to the theme or how I picture a normal alien being like on earth.
If you wanted to give him a super power you could, that's totally up to you. Perhaps he could read minds, or be bale to control/move things with his mind? When I think of aliens and super powers, I think of them being able to do things with their minds. Or maybe he could be psychic? Like, someone could get suspicious because right before something bad is going to happen he always manages to avert the situation.
Or just simple things like, "She knew there was something... off about him. The way he would reach for the phone a second before it rang." (=
how do you know? what should the illegal alien say? what happens when that occurs? what happens next after immigration leaves?
i reported through ice immigration my ex boyfriend and his family who are illegal aliens as well but i now regret it i did it through anger and now i regret it i know i cant cancel it but i want to know what i can do to to prevent it.

and the lawyer has told me to tell them not to talk just answer basid questions but does not have to say legal or illegal
If there are aliens out there, then how would we know that any of their characteristics would parallel that of any of Earth's lifeforms? Since they would be completely independent of us, they would likely be so different from us that it would be very difficult to apply any familiar concepts to them.
Fundamental concepts as we know them could not easily apply to the aliens, such as psychology, intelligence, sexuality, language, society, culture, ethics, math, or technology. Those things, if they even are there, would develop so differently that there may as well be new terms for them. Intelligence, for example, may not be such a linear process, so the most advanced aliens could be considered not more or less intelligent than humans, but intelligent in a very different sense.
Therefore, there is a likelihood that they never broadcast any signals beyond their planet, or try to make contact with Earth, so SETI may just never work and aliens may never be building spacecraft to visit this planet, because they are too alien. Those gold colored discs meant to teach aliens about Earth may never mean a thing to them. They would be more different from us than we could even dream.
There is a possibility that this is true.
There is also the possibility that this is not.
This is because we have not been able to prove that there is life in the Universe other than on Earth.
And so any hypothesis is both valid and invalid until some evidence is available for,or against.
