I am a devout student of Wing Chun Kung Fu and Tai Chi and am dying to see the movie.
If it does, it will get limited release in the "art houses"
the art of Wing Chun and use it to go against the Japanese or Western Imperialism how would it effect the Silat.Surely it would be great to see Yip Man to combine silat with wing chun.
To Anthony I'm talking about the time during Japanese Invasion
Use it to go against the Japanese or Western Imperialism? You are approaching martial arts all wrong. Open your mind and spirit, the world is changing as all cultures are blending together. Look at the world and realize a better understanding will bring peace.
Wing Chun was developed by Bruce Lee to do away with the poses and other unnecessary parts of martial arts. I am not familiar with silat. I imagine parts of it could incorporated with wing chun to make it even more effective.
Speaking of Yip Man, did you see the new Chinese movie about him?
Yes. Bruce Lee is better than everyone. EVEN CHUCK NORRIS.
Do you know if Bruce Lee taught all what he knew? I wonder if he surpassed(both in physical and technical level) his original master Yip Man.
no and yes.
