I would like to find a company that makes replicas of the long military trench coats worn in the film adaptation of The Mutiny on the Bounty. If anyone knows what the coats are called, that would be great, too.
I would try rentable costume stores. In my city, we have a local one where you can rent anything you can possibly imagine, and you can barter for a price to actually keep some of the costumes, depending on how often they're used. They're all hand made, too.
Directed by Lewis Milestone with Marlon Brando, Trevor Howard, Richard Harris.
I have a copy o the 1932 book of Mutiny on the Bounty. What is the monetary value?
Hi there,
Not much. It is not exactly a rare book. If you want to be sure, ask at the nearest antiquarian bookshop.

I know they are dscended from Christian Fletcher (British Mutiny) and some Tahitians who settled on the Islands but i couldnt find why they Mutineed?.
Anyone know give me some info.
Thanks!.
After they had spent some time amongst the delights of Tahiti the mutineers were reluctant to return to the discomfort and discipline of a naval ship. After the mutiny they returned to Tahiti.
I mean do you really think that 45 people could fit in a ship as small as this?

this is a replica of the original or so they say.
Remember that only 1/3 of the men on the ship were sleeping at any time, so 30 men were working above and below decks. Some over the sides. They started the voyage with 45 but men die off during the trip. How many were alive by the time they reached Tahiti?
The book The Mutiny of the Bounty was a fantastic read. I loved every page of it. The movie with Clark Gable was a perfect adaptation of the novel. Read the book, and see the movie.
Don't judge so hard for knowing it I'm kinda young.
For the most part, the story in literature is about like it was. There is, in some minds, a sense of injustice, but others will note that without harsh discipline, navy's (not just the British Navy) would not have been able to exist prior to the 1900's without such harshness. Mutiny would have been the rule had the rules been less strict or been ignored.
