you can be a bounty hunter, which in some states you can apprehend someone, dead or alive... but usually the dead part doesnt get you paid. but being hired to kill someone, that is illegal. its called being an assassin. lol

Some of these "gun for hire" companies only want ex special forces, and the rest only want ex law enforcement, or ex military. I think it may be harder to do than you think.
