Well for one thing when people think their candidate is a shoe-in they tend to stay at home. For another, it seems there were a lot of undecideds, and they seem to have decided against Bloomberg. Plus his decision to run again despite term limits left a bad taste in the voters' mouths.

Let's face it ... President Bush is the most under appreciated President in history. Why then did BHO not take the election by a landslide? Shouldn't his win have been with a larger margin when you consider all the things that the Dem's have been complaining about for the past 8 years?

Relatively unsafe drugs are approved for serious conditions, where the alternative is even worse. Example: Suppose you are suffering from severe sepsis, with a fatality rate of 50%. There is a drug that is 50% effective, but has a 10% chance of killing you. The FDA will approve that drug, because the dangers of taking the drug are outweighed by the dangers of not taking the drug.

Obama has about the same economic, military, foreign policy experience as my poodle. We are going to get exactly what we deserve. If you don't know in every detail who you are voting for, then stay home.
