Is it normal to feel like the odd man out?
Chocolate!

At work I'm the only one under 21, and it just seems like while everyone gets to go have a good time, I'm always the one left out.

Yes. It is quite normal to feel like "the odd man out" at one time or another. It happens to everyone at different stages; sometimes at every stage in life. It depends on social circumstances, age groups, settings (places and activity).

Being that you're the youngest person among your work peers, you have a perfect opportunity to shine brightly and exceed your perceived limitations. You have your entire future ahead of you. Everyone was under 21 at one time. There are millions of people who are looking up to you right now. You have a choice to be the follower or the leader. It's all in your perception. I'd LOVE to be under 21 again! Seize the day, my friend.

Have you ever thought about how others feel left out of your "league" because you're the big kid? Or that the older bunch who you work with would love to be younger again, like you?

Make the best of your life at EVERY stage. I remember when I couldn't wait to be 13 .....then 16 ....then 18, 19, and 21. I'm 47 now! I remember being 16, like it was yesterday....and poof --here I am at 47. Time flies ----and fast, fast, fast!

Enjoy your youth. There WILL come a time (sooner than you can imagine) that you'll give anything to be young again. When that time comes .......remember me!

We all feel like the "odd man out" throughout life. Get busy living, my friend, and know that you are NOT alone in this world.
