Does wanting something that is so illogical and fantastic (as in fantasy) mean you are depressed and maybe need medical help?
You really disappointed me after seeing your second, rather sarcastic, question.
Perhaps you haven't read what Paul said to the believers in Philippi? He said he wanted to leave this world and be with Christ. After all, death is going to happen to us all and Paul, realistically, knew that Heaven had much more to offer than even the best this world has to offer. But he also knew that for the present time, it was better for him to stay and keep on ministering to the saints there.
So Paul didn't have a "death wish" or anything like that. Rather, he knew that either living or dying, he had work to do until everything was completed. I really am sorry you had to be so sarcastic in regards to the hopes so many people hold dear.
Its your spirit right that goes there, so your physical body that houses all your senses and emotions gets left behind so how to you see/feel/react to heaven?
>> So in heaven if you leave your physical body ...
There is no such thing as leaving your physical body. Man has no such thing as an immortal soul nor a separate eternal spirit. Man *IS* a living soul -- he does not *HAVE* a soul. Take God's WORD for it:
Gen. 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
When a person dies, they don't go anywhere except to the grave (Job 7:9,10). Only their breath returns to God (Psalms 104:29; 146:4). There is no consciousness after death (Eccl. 9:5,6). Jesus promised that all of the saved would go to Heaven to be with Him (John 14:1-4). The saved will have physical, glorified bodies just like Christ's physical body after His Resurrection (Luke 24:36-43). After the Final Millennium, we will leave Heaven to attend the Judgment Day on this earth (Rev. 20:7-15). Then Heaven and Earth is destroyed and made New (Rev. 21:1) and God and Christ set up the seat of their Kingdom on the Earth Forever (Rev. 21:3).
God bless.
An eternity is a long time and I may make a decision now that I may wish to change in several billion years, can I leave?
If not, then is heaven just a fancy prison?
Please dont insult us both by answering "you wont want to leave"
there is no heaven after you die, heaven is here on earth where and when your dreams come true.
I just imagine that after a few thousand years of groveling, and kissing Godbutt, that it would turn a little mundane... is it just me?
I think the more proper question would be " is there anything you can to to get kicked out of heaven?" I hope so
