Body and Soul

Soul is localised Energy in physical body. How we can assume Soul leaves body on death to acquire new body?
Free Book!!

Energy is omniscient. ENERGY inside the living body is now known as same as Universal Energy. Dr.Deepak Chopra says on death Body leaves soul(energy) and not the vice versa. How is it spiritually energy(released by dead body ) is assumed as new birth soul instantly said to acquire new body.

then where do you think this energy goes ? energy once it starts does not come to an end . it continues forever. so the energy i.e. the soul leaves the body when it dies and is for some time floating in space with the energy then it touches down again in a new body developing in the womb. and it continues till it receives moksha it means being one with space i, e conciousness i.e. love. then the body does enter a body it just floats in space or conciousness . and then it can play around enter leave enter leave a body as it wishes.

What would the soul look like outside the body?
You Are An Out Of Body Experience

This is in join of my previous question. But really, I want to know people's opinion of the communion of the body and soul. What is so important of it? Is it a negative communion?

I think it would be cool if they looked different for each person, but they'd also be roughly human for each person. So like, there'd be demon type things and elf type things and other fantastical stuff like that. I'd be like a bestial pointy eared thing with long epic hair and some awesome looking staff.

Jehovah's Witnesses--regarding the soul. How can you explain that the body and soul is the same?
Body And Soul

According to Matthew 10:28, it clearly indicates that you can kill the body but not the soul. Based on my understanding you believe that the body and soul are the same.

They are not the same. In Matthew 10:28, Jesus used the greek word psuche to designate the part of man that continues on after physical death. It was not being used to refer to the whole person. If that were the case, then the psuche would die when the physical body is killed. This verse clearly shows that it is possible to kill the body without killing the soul. Therefore, Jesus is saying that there is something about you which even you your physical body is killed there is something that cannot be touched. Many witnesses have a false understanding of this scripture. They are told that both are the same. However, look at Rev 6:9 and 10. Here it mentions that the soul of those who had been slain because of the word of God.... If the soul is the physical person. Then Witnesses would have to believe that flesh and blood can go to heaven. And we know that flesh and blood cannot enter heaven.

For the one who quoted Gen 2:7, notice that God made the body out of dust. The second step was to place the breath of life or soul into the body and then the man became a living being. The soul was not made out of the dust.

If our body is just a vessel to our soul, do you think our sexual orientation is just a vessel to our love?
Body And Soul

I just had this thought while I was sitting in the toilet. Aren't toilets amazing for giving inspirations!

But I was just wondering about it, since the nature and discussions about body and soul is somewhat similar to sexual orientation and love.

The love is the most important thing of all, and sexual orientation is just something to achieve a bigger and better love. Like our soul, which should be more important than our body.

We strive to gain better soul, and the way to achieve it is always different from each person, because the vessel which we are born with are different than each other. And we should optimize our soul with the vessel we got.

No. I think the body is a vessel for the soul. Sexuality begins in the mind. I don't think sexual orientation is to achieve a bigger and better love. It's just they way you are because the way your mind is wired. The kind of relationship you have, be it gay or straight, determines if you achieve the most important partnership of your life.

in plato's theory of the body & soul, where do you find emotions?
Body And Soul

the body is intrested in sense pleasures
the soul knows real knowledge such as beauty ect.

so which of these holds emotions such as jealousy, love, hate ect.

is it the sense bit-body
or real knowledge-soul

Emotion I think is from the Mind, and extension of the Body. Think of the chariot analogy thing. Emotion is apparently a distraction from 'higher matters of the soul' which the philosopher should be concerned with.
