My hubby is the biggest scrooge at Christmas. He knows that is the one day I look forward to especially since my dad and best friend past away. He brings me down and I get in an ugly mood over the holidays. Does any one have any ideas as to what I can do to make him a little more like Mr. Claus?
does he have a reason for not liking Christmas? some times something happens on a holiday or close to it that just turns us against that holiday in general, maybe explain to him how important it is to you, or do volunteer work together, if he sees the face of a child opening a gift they wouldn't normally have, or someone eating food that they would never be able to eat, it changes people, i had a boyfriend that was a jerk, not to me but to other people, he was so selfish, well i always volunteered & one year i took his negative butt to pass out blankets to the homeless, something about that day changed him, he started being a little nicer to people, like he appreciated what he had after that, i'm not going to lie to you and say it was like scrooge in the Christmas story, but he changed a little bit, and isn't that all we can ask for, i hope you have a wonderful Christmas

(Another favorite novel of mine by Dickens). Mine would Scrooge's nephew Fred because he ultimately forgives his uncle and that was a hard thing to do!
I liked Bob Crachett because he stays cheerful even though Scrooge has treated him rotten.
