Annie Hall

Answers

Where can I find prints of the photographs that Annie takes in the lobster scene in Annie Hall?
io e Woody [in originale Woody Hall(en)]

The photographs are of Alvy, holding up the lobsters. There are multiple shots. You can see them hanging in the scene when Alvy is in Annie's apartment, before he tries to kill the spider.

I'm answering just because no one else has. It is very unlikely you will find such a thing. The photos were used in the set, and are either long gone and / or buried in some storage crate somewhere in a warehouse at United Artists. It is also not very likely that "Annie" actually took those photos. They were probably taken by another photographer and not actually taken when Annie and Alvy were together in the kitchen.

About all I would know to do is start trying to contact United Artists studios and / or everything you can find to do with movie memorabilia.

Annie Hall

Scene from Woody Allen's "Annie Hall" (1977).

Who thinks Annie Hall is one of the all-time best romantic comedies?
Mr. Woody Allen

The '70s comedy movie did win an Oscar, although I am pre-
judiced and I really don't care about Allen's relationship with
Mia, it's unrelated in my opinion, to the quality of his movies.
Or any actor's movies, their personal life I mean.
Annie Hall starred with Diane Keaton,
Woody Allen(who directed), and was
released in the '70s. It won an Oscar. A major onslaught of characters who became popular
later including Carol Kane, Jeff Goldblum(short cameo), Christopher Walken, Shelley Duvall, musician
Paul Simon and others. A comedy
with a lot of commentary on any
topic including drug use, sex, death,
California, Jewish hatred, drivers,
JFK and more. Diane Keaton sings
in this movie.

Umm.. I dont agree. And why did you put this under Food & Drink?

Can you explain this movie quote from Annie Hall for me?
Annie Hall, live at Giovane Italia, Parma

Toward the beginning of the film Alvy says, "Fellas, what is this? A meeting of the Teamsters?" What does he mean. I know the UPS union are called the Teamsters, but that doesn't sound right. Is he refering to like mobsters or something?

The teamsters were the archetypical tough union which included truck drivers and they also had a role in the film industry. They were led by Jimmy Hoffa who was involved with the mob, had a fight with JFK and Bobby Kennedy in the early sixties and later disappeared in mysterious circumstances. There is an urban myth that he was buried on the 10 yard line during a refurbishment of Yankee stadium, but it is certainly widely believed that he was disappeared by the mafia.

So a meeting of the teamsters would be like a meeting of mobsters, only with less italian-americans.

Similarity between Annie Hall and Cilty Lights as best romantice comedy movie?
Annie Hall, live at Giovane Italia

they are both comedies about a man and a woman in love. other than that, the two movies have nothing in common.

City Lights is a romance. It's a fantasy of the tramp making an extraordinary effort to help the girl of his dreams, who is blind. He gets her an operation. At the end, he's still scruffy, homeless, penniless, and just out of jail. Meanwhile, she can see, she's beautiful, and running a successful flower business. But they fall in love when she realizes he was the one who helped her.

Annie Hall is a no-frills look at a failed love affair. It's a very realistic look at modern romance. It shows how they met; the problems with their relationship and how it ended. It's also very funny but for showing the real life problems with relationships, while City Lights is funny for showing absurd, unrealistic situations.
