Why animals who are released into wild after living in zoo all life, fail to survive?
Everett Ruess

There have been countless experiments where zoo animals in asia like elephant, tiger, hippo etc etc were released into wild due to space restrictions. However they all died rapidly, out of starvation or confusion.

Recently a captivity panda was released into the wild by China to see if it can manage on its own or not. Few days later it was found dead. the released panda fatally hurt himself after falling down from a tree due to poor climbing skills. Whereas the wild pandas were experts in tree climbing.

All of ours have done just fine. Well no I take that back, I am sure some of the snakes have been eaten, but that is why we release fist fulls at a time. All of our other bird, reptiles, and mammals have done just fine. Well one large mammal did not make it but it was not due to natural causes (was killed by a person).

We also do conservation work with many rescue facilities in the wild and all of their releases have gone just fine. Only problems that are encountered are due to people (poaching, etc) and not due to "starvation" or "confusion"

I would like to see these "countless experiments" you are speaking of.

What does it take to get into wild life conservation? What education and experience?
IntotheWild

My girlfriend is having a hard time figuring out what she needs to take to get into wild life conservation. She is currently a Biology Major and is trying to find out if she will need a B.S, M.S. or a P.h.d. to get into the field.

She must have a lot of time to train herself into becoming wildlife conservationist before going to it. As for me, she will need M.S. (Master of Science) to get to that field. But the best of all tips is to train herself into becoming wildlife conservationist and study hard.

Alaska's the perfect place to go "into the wild" (have you read the book?)
its amazing how much wilderness is here and how many thousands of miles that have never been seen!! millions of lakes and plenty of fishing for food, best of all you can have a float plane drop you off somewhere and pick you up when your done... but be sure to research Alaska first!! the majority of the people coming here to go "into the wild" are naive to the power of mother nature and wind up decomposing some where in the vast wilderness!!
be sure to come during the end of winter therefore you have plenty of time before the next harsh winter and your gaining light!!

if not Alaska i would suggest Oregon!!

Im writing an essay on into the wild and I dont know how to refer to the characters in the book?
IntotheWild6

Should i put
"into the wild" and the people included portray nature as a neutral entity.

or "into the wild" and its characters included portray nature as a neutral entity.

or "into the wild" and the witnesses included ... so on

or are the people in the book refered to or called something else??

cuz they are more like witnesses than characters.

Maybe the first one you had would be good.
It sorta depends on what type of essay. Are you doing a post reading summary of what the theme of the book is and why you think that?
If so, then I would add another option. You could also say:
(insert character name here) from the book "into the wild" did this in this situation and they set an example of (insert theme here) by doing this.
I don't know XD
I just thought maybe that would help? If not, I'm sorry.
